Packing Tips and Tricks for European Vacations
If you are planning a European vacation that will require you to take trains and smaller airplanes, you are encouraged to only use smaller carry-on sized suitcases. Trains and small airplanes just do not have much storage options. Don't panic, this can easily be done!

- Cut Proof/Resistant cross body bag/purse or fanny packs/hip purse
- Do not wear expensive jewelry, leave your wedding rings and diamond earrings at home. Wear nice "knock offs".
- Do not carry phones, wallets etc in back pockets, pick pockets are rampant everywhere.
- When logging into public WiFi, be sure you use a VPN to protect yourself.
- Skip money exchange locations and use the ATMs, just be sure your bank knows you will be out of the country.

- Use packing cubes. They really do work by pulling out extra air and flattening your clothes.
- Bring mix and match clothing options.

- Power strip with the correct plug for the country you are in. Most European hotel rooms never seem to have enough plugs for all our electronics.
- Wash clothes are not supplied at most European hotels. If this is something you like to use, you might want to pack a few or bring disposable facewipes.
